Me encanta. ¡Pero no tengo una idea! No se trata sólo de la idea, ¡se trata del equipo! Los equipos se forman en torno a las ideas más votadas en el primer día, por lo que puedes contribuir a la idea de negocio que más te inspire con tus conocimientos y experiencia. Todos somos importantes en Startup Weekend.
¿Cómo funciona? Empezamos el viernes con una ronda de presentaciones, donde todos podemos exponer una idea en un intenso minuto. Tras escucharlas todas se realiza una votación para elegir las más populares, y las personas que hayan presentado estas ideas tendrán la responsabilidad de formar un equipo para desarrollarla.
Durante el sábado y el domingo, los equipos diseñan y dan forma a su proyecto con la ayuda de mentores hasta desarrollar finalmente el plan de negocio de su startup.
El domingo por la tarde los equipos presentan sus propuestas ante un panel de jueces, en un pitch de 5 minutos, que elegirán al ganador del evento.

At Startup Weekend, you’re in “risk-free international waters”, so dive into to the thrilling world of startups.
Wow, sounds great, but I don’t have an idea! Startup Weekend is not just about having an idea, it’s about working as part of a team. Teams are formed around the ideas with the most votes on the first day. That means you can contribute your knowledge and experience to the business idea that most inspires you. Everyone is important at Startup Weekend.
How does Startup Weekend work? We start on Friday with a round of pitches. Everyone with an idea will have one minute to pitch it to everyone else. Once everyone has pitched, voting commences to choose the most popular ideas and the people who presented these ideas will have to form a group and develop the idea.
On Saturday and Sunday design and give their project some shape with the help of mentors, until they finally develop their startup’s business plan. On Sunday afternoon, the teams have five minutes to pitch their proposals to a panel of judges, who will choose the Startup Weekend winner.
